TNS: connect Timeout Occured

Today some reloads get failed and in log its showing

this error,


Error: SQL##f - SqlState: S1000, ErrorCode: 12170, ErrorMsg: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred


I have reloaded the task manually and its working fine.

But want to know why this error occur.

In  the other , i found the below Error

07/01/2017 4:31:42 AM:       Error: SQL##f - SqlState: 08004, ErrorCode: 1034, ErrorMsg: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

07/01/2017 4:31:42 AM:       IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 2: No such file or directory

These messages are returned by the database and not qlikview related errors, so you might want to check with the database team as to why they occured.

A Google search on the error returns the following:

You can often get those Oracle errors if the Oracle database is down or in a seriously poorly way.

Probably one for your dba to investigate.
