Table Box width

Hey Guys,I am not able to reduce the width of table box after a particular limit. I want to reduce the width of table box as large width cause a horizontal scroll bar on bottom.I dont need this horizontal bar,as table box has its own scroll bar.

Could you please help me out regarding this?

The width can be reduced to a very small extend,

place the cursor between 2 headers u will get a + sign , drag it to reduce the size,

u can wrap the text in the header if u have large headers like "incomer per year" with the below option.

Thank you Sundar for your reply.But it is not working.I just want to reduce the width of table box.I am using Wrap text for header and cell both.I have some filters(list boxes) which i placed left most of sheet and then a table box.I am ok with the scroll bar of table box.But a horizontal bar is also there which of qlikview window scroll bar.Before there is vertical scoll bar also of qlikview but when i reduce the height of table,this vertical scroll bar removes as height of table box is adjusted.Now for vertical scroll bar,i am using table box's vertical scroll bar.Same I want to achieve for horizontal scroll.Just to reduce the width of table box so that table box is also fit in the window and then i will use table box's horizontal scroll bar to scroll horizontally also.But i am not able to redeuce the width after a particular limit.

I am attaching the sample qvw.But may be i am not able to create a proper sample,but this happens to me.After a limit, table box width not decreasing.I cant upload screen shot as it is office work.But my table contains 15 columns and lots of text.i am using wrap text and wrap header.but even this after a limit it is not decreasing.

Is there any way..so that we can fix the width of table box.so if user wants to drag by clicking between columns then only scroll of table box gets affected.still I can increase the width of table box but cant reduce. Also I can change the height of table box by placing mouse on the border line of table box.but I want to make width of table according to my page size.i also try by changing the width by changing the dimensions in caption tab.but it doesnt geta reduced..

Hi Tushar:

If you want to control the table box size, go to the properties of the object and navigate to the tab [Layout].  Under that make sure in the "Option" section near bottom right of section to uncheck the "Size to Data".  This should allow you to define a width without worrying about it automatically getting adjusted based on selection that affect content of the table box.

If that doesn't solve it then I may be not understanding the problem.

Thank you guys for your responses.Now I am able to control the width of table box by unchecking the Size to data option in layout tab in the property of table box.

But this will not solve the problem,you also have to uncheck the Size to data option in  layout tab in the settings(menu)>Document properties.

Hi, I think there must be another setting that can prevent your table boxes from sizing down. I already had the "Size to Data" unchecked. It doesn't matter what I do, I can't get this table box less than 316 points. Please, does anyone know of another another setting I could check?
