Task Failure Notification

I am using QV 12.10 SR7, I have setuo some Alerts in the APP. So I need 2 things to happen after reload from QMC

1) If the Task fails then the notification shall be sent out to selected users for that Task only

2) If the Alter condition is true then the Alerts should be sent out to the selected users from QMC.

I see there are 2 places in QMC (Mail Server)  to define email addresses and also under distribution services there is an Alter email option.

How shall I setup the above 2 senarios

You can set up the alert through Distribution services, go to Alert Email and put the Email id on which you need failure alert.
