Team Please Guide For Developer Certification

Dear  Qlikview Team Memers,

I want to go for the developer certification in Qlikview.

I study QlikView Tutorial (which are in personal edition - 24 chapters)

Kindly Suggest for next step like videos,pdfs. so that i can study more and apply for certification as quick as possible (i am base from India Country(Mumbai) )

Try to go through this book "Qlikview for developers". This is the best to complete before going for certification exam.

Hi a better advice by richard and fabrice

To get the certification, also, you need to (always according to me):

1) start with the book "QlikView for Developers"

2) read blogs (by HIC), white papers, bests practices. Also read docs written by other people : some are very good

3) help other people on the forum to do practices (even if you are not the first one to get the right answer)

4) see all functionalities (objects, arichitecture) even if you do not go deeply in detail (that was my case for the servers)

Hi folks,

Congrats on taking the steps to complete your QlikView 11 Developer certification!  Here is some information you may find useful in preparing for the exam. If you take and pass your QlikView 11 Developer certification, you automatically receive the certification for QlikView 11 Designer as well, but it is possible to take this exam first, if you feel much stronger in the UI development, than you do with data modeling and the load script syntax.

The Developer exam is a 70 question multiple choice exam, which you have two hours to complete. You must earn a 75% or higher in order to obtain the certification. Majority of the questions are single answer multiple choice, with 4 to 5 possible answers.

Below are some of the resources that I found useful to prepare for the exam:

• Qlik's Education Services (Designer and Developer training classes, which is in my opinion the best training tool available for this exam):

• The book "QlikView 11 for Developers" by Barry Harmsen and Miguel Garcia:

The book that anandathome  referenced is brilliant to get you through the certification. However make sure you have a proper understanding of data modelling, how to properly do testing and debugging in QV, learn set analysis again from basics as sometimes important features get forgotten as time goes by, learn how to use states in QV.

If you understand all of the above, and read the book (which covers everything mentioned) you will pass without issue.
