Text file alignment

I am trying to load a text file in my qvw,the contents are well aligned in text file but when I see in qvw it's not showing aligned,how to do that

Hi,

While loading the text file check and try different option for Delimiter and Character set option. If that doesn't work then share a sample file for better resolution.

Hello Shivali,

Trust that you are doing well!

You can achieve the layout changes by referring below steps:

1. Open the properties window of respective chart object

2. Go to the Presentation Tab

3. Select the desired field and set the alignment options as per your need (Alignment Options as for Labels, Text & Numbers; If particular field is alphanumeric then set the alignment for Text as well as Numbers)

Are leading and/or trailing blanks being stripped of the text? Is the source file indented using spaces or tabs? By default, QV strips leading and trailing white space from text. To prevent this, set this system variable before the problem load statements:

Set Verbatim = 1;

This causes QV to load the white space as part of the text.
