Text in bold and caps

Hi,

How to make text in a text box in bold and caps in qlikview?

Please help.

Just use the font tab in the text box to make any formatting changes to your text

If this is for chart or table

go to respective dimension or expression and click on + sign

now go to text format and type

'<u>' for underline

'<i>' for italic

'<b>' for bold

for combination...

'<i><b>'

UPPER(YourFieldName) as YourFieldName

LOWER(YourFieldName) as YourFieldName

Capitalize(YourFieldName) as YourFieldName

work both in small and capital letters...

To put text in all caps, you'll have to use the function Upper() in your text box. As for bold, go to the Font tab and select change the font style to Bold (Note that some fonts do not have option to bold).

Create a text box..

write in expression..

=TEXT('Filter by')

Go to FONT Tab and select BOLD

To make it upper case.

=UPPER(TEXT('Filter by'))
