Textbox tied to corresponding data record

Hi,

Is there any way in QlikView to create a free form text box field tied to a corresponding data record and have it permanently save to the data record that was loaded into QlikView?

For example, I update an excel file to have the data appear in QlikView.  An ideal solution would be to update a text box in QlikView and have the new data automatically update the source data file.

In general there is te possibility to use QlikView Direct Discovery but I think this won't very practically and you will rather need to reload the application each time if the source changed - maybe with Using EDX in QlikView 11 - basic example.
