The way to highlighten charts

Hi,

I am wondering whether Qlikview has highlightening function.

I have 4 colorful bar charts on the dashboard. I hope once I click on one chart, the other will go grey (or maybe other color) so that what I choose can be highlightened and kept colors. Is this can be done in Qlikview?

Best regards,

Have you tried to check the option 'Persistent Colors' in the Colors Tab?

Hi,settu_periasamy,

Thank you for your advice. I looked up the persistent Colors option and found out it was an option to keep color once we make change in selection.

However what I need is to highlighten the chart I click on. Just like when you click on a file on your machine, the file's background will go blue. I am wondering whether Qlik can do this.

You could use a brighter/darker color for Active Caption in the Caption tab of object properties

Thank you. Yes I am going to do that If there is no other way to change the color of the bar chart through click.

What you are describing is commonly called "Brushing", and yes, it's possible with Qlikview. Download this sample for some examples:
