Tie AR Invoices to CRM Opps

There is no common key field between Opportunities and Invoices.

The field in CRM for Oppo_InvoiceNumber is blank and all I am left with is:

OpportunityID

CompanyID

and other CRM related keys..

The AR Invoice Table has key fields like

CustKey

InvcKey

TranID,

etc.

But nothing for CRM Opps.

How can I create a new key to link these together and eventually do a join over?

Hi David,

If there are no common keys it's impossible to join this tables.I this case you should find different tables and join your tables via joining through them.

Probably, you can join by CustomerName or CustomerKey.

It looks like CompanyID in Opportunities table is CustomerKey (but it could be a YourCompanyKey - I can't say definitely without having a look at your actual data)

If you don't have CustomerKey in Opportunities table you probably need to find additional table which can help you to join you tables.
