Total of a column/rows on a pivot table

    Hi All

the pivot table when using Set Analysis is working well - but I want to add a TOTAL to both the Column on the right and to the bottom line.

I have included both the spreadsheet and the qlik file.  Is there some other way of doing this?  I experimented with the Calculate Dimension - I have never used one before but I am not sure how this is use.  The calculation I used did not work on the pivot table ...

=monthname(Date)	Location	East	North	South	West
Feb 2016	NewCase	3	4	2	4
Feb 2016	Finish	0	1	1	0

Without looking at your sample, have you tried with enabling the partial sums on presentation tab for both your dimensions?

I created a new chart called 'With Totals' on your Qlik file.  Will that work for you?

at work today I was able to open the files again.

I made a mistake - I tried to do partial sums, but I was trying to do it on 'NewCases" and "Finish" not "locations" - which off course makes sense.
