Total value to show individual row values

Hi,

We have a pivot chart as below,

Dept          attendance      Count

Finance    Present           10

               Absent             15

Admin     Present             5

              Absent             20

HR         Present             15

              Absent              25

Grand Total                      90

the grand total gives the total of all the values.

We want the Grand total to appear as follows,

Grand total   Present       30

                   Absent         60

The Grand total should show both the vaules of the Attendance column. Can you please let me know how to achieve this.

thanks,

Venu

If you have two dimensions Dept and attendance and a count expression, pivoting your second dimension to the top and using a partial sum on the first dimension should get what you want (well, maybe with a different layout)

Hi,

Try

Attendance as Dimension1 and Dept as Dimension 2 and select show partial sum for both dimensions, this way it is possible.

Other create a new widget with Attendance as dimension and sum(Count) As expression and place below your pivot table.

Hope attached file helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.

hi,

When i place the widget below the pivot table, will i be able to adjust the top pivot table's height keeps chaning based on the field data selection.

Can I dynamically place the widget to always be below the pivot table.?
