I'm relatively new to the Qlikview space and came across this very cool solution that this person detailed in the following link of creating a KPI type of object by using agauge charts and variables.

My issue is that it displays perfectly fine in our development environment, but once promoted to our production environment, all the variables that are calculated expressions do not display. Only the text based ones show up. Is there some setting that a Qlikview admin needs to turn on for it to be displayed in production. If so, what would that be?
