Trying to edit groups causes QV to crash

I've an application that crashed QV every time I tried to open the "Edit groups" windows. I tried leaving the application without data and open it with QV8.5 and QV9. It doesn't work. Any ideas?

I have experienced similar lockup of QV 9 devleloper when accessing the Expression window of an empty (reduced document) document.

The only way around it I found was to load the data.

It works. Actually, loading all the data sometimes brokes the app, but if I load only a few records it works. Thanks!
