Two List List Box

I have 2 list box as follows

List Box 1          List box  2

Dept                   Branch

A                          1

B                          2

C                         3

                             4

                              5

                              6

                              7

                              8

                              9

Branch 1,2,3 come under Dept A

Branch 4,5,6 come under Dept B

Branch 7,8,9 come under Dept C

My requirement is to show Branch 1,2 and 3 in Branch List box if I select Dept A and so on

Pls help to write the expression for thisw

the easiest method would be to check the "hide excluded" option:

Hi,

that's out-of-the-box QV functionality, i.e. no expression required.

Hi,

Do these fields have any logical connection?

I mean do they reside in the same table?

if yes, then this is how qlikview works.

If not then do let me know.

I get your point. but as per your example in the branch list box still the branch 4-9 are visible though not highlighted.  What I want to see only 1 2 3 branches in the branch list box

Create New List Box

Write Expression

Use AGGR(Branch,Dept)

There is change It should as below

Use AGGR(Branch,Branch)

When You select A from Dept Then it will give only 1,2,3
