Unable to connect via ODBC - help!

Hello,

I am trying to connect to an Oracle 11g database and I keep getting an error.

This is what I did.

1. Invoked Windows x32 ODBC applet

2. Created an ODBC called ORACLE_DB.

3. Successfully tested the connection.

4. Opened QV script editor.  Picked "ORACLE_DB" as the odbc data source.  Clicked "Test Connection" and got this error.

Connection Test Failed

SQL##f - SqlState: IM014, ErrorCode: 0, ErrorMsg: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application

Can someone explain this and help me to resolve this?

Thank you

Did you mark the "Force 32-bit" checkbox under the driver listbox in the Script Editor?

I resolved it.  I had to check "Force 32-bit".

Peter,

Yes, I got it to work just right before you posted your response.

However I can't submit an Oracle PL/SQL statement.  I will post a new thread in a few minutes.

Thanks.
