Hi QV Experts,
I have a pivot chart with 2 dimensions. However, i am unable to do multi select either of the dimensions. Any ways of making it to work. I need to be able to to multi select just like how we do in a list box.
Thanks,
Ram
Yes, work around is there.
.
You can enable 'Drop down select' in the presentation tab for the dimension and there you could apply multiple selections.
Are you trying to select from the pivot table dimension? I am afraid, that would not be working. With a straight table, it could work.
Hi Tresesco,
It works in Straight table. But the reason why i use pivot is because straight table does not group by the dimension. it shows 1 record in each row and the dimension is repeated. Which is why i had to use pivot.
Any other alternate solution?
Thanks,
Ram

Hi Ramanarayan,
As you said, actually you can not select more than 1 value in pivot table, but there is another way to do that.
In Properties, Presentation tab, Dimensions and Expressions part, there is a check box called Dropdown Select, you can use that I think.
Thanks.
