Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to not show "undefined" when clicking into an input box where the value is actually blank/null/undefined.
We want to give the user the ability to input values for filtering using an inputbox but when they click into the inputbox they have to delete 'undefined' before actually typing a value to use.
Is there a way to workaround this? Only thing I can think of is an on/off switch button that adds a value and enables the inputbox for use - going to test this now but just a straight forward input would be much more ideal.
Thanks,
If you have no input constraints on your variable, this will happen.
Go to Settings > Document Settings > Variables > Input Constraints
You can also mange these constraints while you are configuring the input box.
Go to Input Box Properties > Constraints > Input Constraints
Hi Thomas,
in case you didn't know, this is part of the bugfix list of QV11.2 SR11. (see Page 34)
