Use of input box

What is inputbox and what is the use of it and how can we use it in the apps.

how can we use variables from inputbox in expression

Is there check box option for this input box.

is there any restiction , Can you please provide some scenarios where and when we use these

Please Find the answers below:

1. The input box is a sheet object that is used for entering data into QlikView variables and displaying their values.

2. Input Box holds your variables (meaning can be used to check what is the value of a variable ) and you can pass those variables to an expression.

3. I am not sure what you are asking for here

Imagine you are using a qlikview File created by someone else and you find that they are using a variable in some expression now if you want to check , how the variable is defined, create a input box and pull the particular variable and, you can see what is the expression used to define the variable, just like list box helps you add fields used in qlikview,;Input Box helps you to create and or or check the definition of a variable
