User with full access rights can't clone objects

Hi all,

The problem I have is with an application with few objects (charts mainly) on one sheet. There are few advanced users that need to make changes to the objects. To do so they clone the object and make changes to it. For this purpose I've made all the objects clone-able (the checkbox Allow clone in the layout tab in the properties menu is checked), but still there are users that can't clone the object. In the context menu of the object (right click) the clone command is not even dimmed, but does not exist. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I take it your users are working on documents from a server? using the plugin?

If that is the case they will only have the "clone" option available if they have desktop qlikview installed. At least this is the case in v8.5

Sometimes you have to delete the chart and start over. It's usually the last thing you try, but it usually works.
