Using a QlikView variable in the QEMC

Hi

I want to bring in a variable from a QlikView document which is in the QEMC which is a scheduled task. I want to then use this variable in the email alert and notifying bodies.

Can this be done?

For example I have a variable vWeek = 201409 in the QlikView document as a variable created in the script.

I want to be able to include that value in the email body.

Hey Symphony,

You can add the variable value to the PDF report name through:

QEMC >Documents >source Documents > Reduce > Reduced document name > Script variable value.

You can give it a try.
