Value List in dimension

Hi all,

If i use value list function in dimension of bar chart wht will happens

Not sure what type of answer you are expecting, but using valuelist will give you a non-selectable dimension.

ok non selectable value means we cant select any thing from list

actually i added the valuelist('dept',it','cse') in list box expression and getting the value but cant select anything

Right, even though it may seems you can select it, you cannot select a Valuelist() dimension. If you want to be able to select stuff, create a inline table. It essentially works the same way.
