Week Start Date

Hi

I am implementing a dashboard to record the Product sales by Weekly for any selected year and month.

Actual week is consider as Tuesday to Monday. So I need to  pick up the sales figures depend  on the selection of year and month. When select Year & month, I should be able to see the sales values in columns (Week 1, week 2.....ect).

For an example

if you select Year =2015  month =August, it has 5 weeks according to my week start date. How can I create my master calendar in order to pick up the correct values for correct week #.

Week 1 in August : 26/06/2015 to 03/07/2015

Week 2 in August : 04/07/2015 to 10/07/2015

Week 3 in August: 11/07/2015 to 17/07/2015

Week 4 in August: 18/07/2015 to 24/07/2015

Week 5 in August: 25/07/2015 to 31/07/2015

Look forward to hear a solution .

Regards

Harshana

Do you already have defined your weeks? what I mean, do you have created a qvd file or an excel file that already have your specific weeks requirements?

From where your week starts??

is it from tuesday or Friday or Saturday???

As in given e.g 26/6/2015 is Friday.. and ends on Friday only i.e 3/7/2015..it means your week is of 8 days???

and in Week 2 it starts from 04/07/2015 to 10/07/2015  i.e saturday to friday.

Please mention the week-start Day.

Kavita
