Hi Community,
I have to create a QlikView report which will compare current year and last years of data week wise. Please see below for the format required.
Just for more information, I have fields Week, Year, Month, Sales and Product already available. I am just looking for some logic to figure this out. I am using QV9 SR6 and will be great if I am able to achieve this using SET analysis.
Also, it has to be dynamic as the week progresses. Also, when Week is less than 12 say Week=8, then 3rd and 4th column(i.e. Last 12 weeks and Last 52 weeks) should show the same value i.e summed up till 8th week.
I have attached a template which we can work upon. You can modify it to make it work.
Many thanks for your help in advance.
Thanks Amars for looking into this. This was quite helpful.
I actually want to calculate the difference in the sale in each category for this year and last year. I mean I want to have another column under 1or 4 week sales which which will calculate the diff between the sales i.e. (Sale in 2011-Sale in 2010).. But I am not able to have this column added 😞
Output should be something like below:
I have attached the sample report too.
Thanks for your help.
is it possible to achieve this one ? Any work around for this ?
