Greetings,
I am getting ready to re-design our primary QVW, that I inherited, and wanted to know the thoughts of the Q Community users:
We use an Access Point and we also export data ( via Images ) to Nprinting that we typically save to a PDF. Preference for font uses for web apps differs greatly from what will print well.
We are currently using Arial for objects we know we will print and Tahoma as a general font for Web viewing.
Our current resolution is 1024 x 768 for our app, but we are considering moving to 1280 x 1024. Statistics on the web suggest that 95 % of the people on the Internet use at least 1280 x 1024.
If you don't mind, please explain why you made your decisions. Hoping to get quite a few responses, so please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
Basically you need to set your resolution as required in Qlikview Desktop , and after applying to sheet , you can decide how your font should look like .
And caption should be summation of your resolution of every object.
Agnivesh,
I appreciate you taking a moment to reply. I get how to set my resolution and my font. My intent was to learn what other people are doing for resolution and font. I understand that I should be polling my end users to learn their wishes, I was trying to learn what other developers are doing so that I can make recommendation of best practices.
