I am new to data ware housing.  I have following questions in my mind. 

What is meant by data modeling and dimensional modeling?

what is the difference between data modeling and dimensional modeling ? 

Should I assume Star schema or Snow flake schema comes under dimensional modeling or it is different ?

How to understand the data model of a qlikview application whether it is in which type of model?

What are all the steps that I have to take to build a perfect data model ?

I will be very happy if someone from the community can explain in detail
