What is the reason and how to resolve the Index was out of range issue on the QMC?

Capture.PNG

Hi everyone,

I just want to understand this error that I have on Qlikview Management Console. Task are running okay at first but after a couple of successful runs, this error comes out whenever I click on the specific tasks on the QMC. Not sure of the reason why this error comes out.

I can fix it by creating a new QDSettings and restarting the server. but the issue will return eventually. So, was there a permanent fix for this?

looking forward for your help. Thanks!

The most efficient method to resolve this issue is to recreate the %ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService folder. Stop the QDS service, rename Distribution Service directory to Distribution Service.old, restart the QDS service. Renaming this directory will not effect your tasks. The only thing is that the task history in QMC will be reset.

Hello,

Check if you have added the same application in both triggers and dependency.

Remove from one of it. It worked for me.

I restarted the  qlik server and it worked for me. Anyone tried this solution?

Thank you! this worked. However after some time the issue will show again and we have no idea on what causing it. So we just have to do this again if there are a lot of affected tasks. But if there's just 3 or less that we just recreate those tasks.

Thanks again for your help.
