Hi,

Regarding the first problem, first try reparing your QlikView installation from the Control Panel, and if that does not work, uninstall and reinstall again. Usually that error message (that happens with any Windows application) means that the extension of the file is missing in the Windows Registry or points to a software that no longer exists (for example, after an upgrade).

Regarding your second "Internal Inconsistency" error, that might be almost anything. Does that happen when reloading or when doing something in particular or anytime you open QlikView? Does the repair or the reinstall in the step above prevents it from happening?

Hope that helps.

Thanks miguel..

The first problem is take care of. But the inconsistency error happens when I try to reload it. Whenever I open qlik view files open but when I try toreload, there is a problem.sometimes it shows the error and sometimes qlik viewstops working and shuts down.

Hi Jacq,

Did you try reinstalling or reparing? Do you have installed .NET 3.5 SP1 or 4?

Hope that helps.

Miguel,

Ya i had tried repair and reinstalling. Right now i'm using qlikview 10 SR3.

What is .Net 3.5 SP! or 4?

While I appreciate that there is a solution to the first problem, I would very much like to know what causes it.

Jacq,

.NET is a technology that Microsoft provides to develop applications for Windows. It contains some libraries (DLL files) that are required by some applications to work fine. QlikView OCX 10 requires .NET 3.5 (as you can see in the Release Notes pdf file), but the Server should be installed using .NET 4 (extended). You can either download it from Microsoft here or install as a role of your Windows server if you are running Windows 2008.

Hope that helps.

Miguel,

I got the new error when i'm loading my qvw file.

The size of qvd is 14GB.

RAM size is 96GB.

Can you please check once.

Hi Jacq,

Is there any additional information on when the error happens? (just after opening QlikView, just after opening your QVW file, when reloading, and if so, in which line...)

Does that file work when you use it in a different computer?

Regards.

Miguel,

The file is loading perfeclty in another systems. More over it is also executing in my production server with less data. But when i'm going for huge amount of data, it can't. Everytime the machine is showing different types of errors(i.e as previous errors what we had discussed). Is it problem with system or qlikview tool?
