Hi, I'm having this problem in qlikview, I've got a pivot table with no expressions, so i've got the option "suppress zero values" unchecked. When i dont put any filter, the table shows normal with all the dimensions but when i filter, dimensions to the right disappear, that by the way don't have any conditions
In the first image, it's the normal table, and the second one, it's filtered, I would leave it this way, but the thing is that my last column has data I need to show.
Any thoughts why am I having this problem ???
Thanks in advance!!!
I realize that my problem it's because I'm giving format to a dimension using this:
=num(Floor(KM,0.01),'#,##0')
I don't know why exactly, I guess maybe because the field it's null, but I'm going to omit this until I find a solution.
Well, my first thought is why are you using a pivot table if you have no expressions at all?
It think a Table Box is better suited to show records content and you can change each column/dimension format in the number tab (object properties).
Besides that, if want to keep using the pivot table you can pass the dimensiones you want to format to be expressions.
Hi Carlos, well I am using a pivot table, because of how it looks, I like my fields are grouped, when they have the same data. In the regular table, I think I'm not able to do that, correct me if i'm wrong, and because of the order that I have to put the fields in the table, I can't also move those columns to expressions. So far, I solved my problem giving format to the numbers in my database directly. But I think it's a weird behaviour.
Thanks for your answer.
