Wiki posting: Evaluating 'sets' in the context of a dimension

I have just posted a wiki on how to use conditional set analysis in relation to the values of a chart dimension.

I am using it on v9sr4 and John Witherspoon has tested using v9sr6 and v10.

Many thanks to John for validating, testing and explaining the mechanics of the process.

Regards,

Gordon

Link (since it won't always be at the top of the list, and someone may run across it searching through the forum instead of through the wiki):

Looks like the text formatting needs to be cleaned up a bit, but at least the content is viewable. I may take a stab at cleaning it up at some point if you don't. Attached is the QVW I used during my testing. The "Set Vars" tab is what contains the final chart. The other tabs tested other approaches for comparison purposes. The QVW may not make a lot of sense without reading the wiki.

And attached are the results of testing on my ancient 32-bit machine with 2 GB of RAM using version 10 initial release. Yellow highlight shows where performance started breaking down. I assume the limitation was memory, and that a 64-bit machine with more RAM would allow for more rows of data and dimension values.
