Wrong dateformat

Hello!

I have some probelm with a field in my file. I have date and time in wrong format, 12/03/07 16:34:38. I will have this field in 20120307. i have try date and date#, but with wrong result. Some one who can help me?

Date(right(DATEFIELD,2)&'/'&MID(DATEFIELD,5,2)&'/'&LEFT(DATEFIELD,4),'DD/MM/YYYY')
