I'm busy now with a card extension for QlikView, whichwas developed by a colleague of mine. The map shows Germany and by clicking or moving the mouse wheel you reach deeper levels (federal states, districts and municipalities). At the same time, the selection in the QlikView data room is made and restricted. An 8-digit key is used to retrieve information about these levels.
The extension only reads out the required first digits of the key and accordingly selects all keys with the same key beginning.
For example:
first selection level states -> the first two digits
second selection level circles -> the first five digits
Now to my question. Is there a way to send a status to QlikView that says what zoom level I'm in?
