aborted task wont disappear

Hi,

I've aborted a task in the management console but it's been in the status "aborted" for a few days now. I can't get rid of it nor reload it. I've tried to disable the task but it still shows.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

I think you have renamed the application name on which your task was defined.

try to replace back the application name then remove tasks then see in status tab of management console.

I'm dam sure task will be removed there after.

If you still need something else do let me know

Hello,

That always happens when a file is renamed/moved with a task that has not been previously cleared.

Create the same folder/file structure that you have previous to move the file. Sarch for the old ".Shared" file and place it in this folder. Go to the Documents tab in the Console and disable or set to "None" the reload. The task will be removed. After checking that, delete these new files.

Hope that helps.

Hi!

Thanks for you answers but i'm not sure i got it right... Problem is... I haven't renamed the task. But. The document name for the task that's stuck is "SourceDocumentsQVD/Step7c.qvw"

And when i run this 7c, manually, (because i can still do that if i run it from the QEMC, which is wierd) then the document name is only "Step7c.qvw" in the QMC and i only have one of these files, i've looked everywhere.

the problem is that my document is still there, i've never moved it. But it wont change, not even when i disable the task for the document. it still has the status "aborted". nothing changes.

I'm going crazy here.

Hi,

Are the other tasks working properly? Are QliKView services running properly? Do you have Document CALs assigned to that document? If not, rename it and schedule a reload task again. Open the document, go to the Document Properties, and check "Generate logfile" and "Timestamp in logfile name".

Hope that helps.

Hi!

All tasks are working as they should. And the services. No cals assigned so i renamed it and scheduled it again. I don't know why i didn't think of that. But the aborted task still remains but hopefully the task will still be reloaded as it should.

I'll know tomorrow. Thanks!
