action for button

Hi experts,

I have 2 sheets in one sheet i have one but and another sheet i have  calendar .

now if i select button in one sheet then Current year until the end of last ended month ( e.g. in June 2017, from Jan 2017 until May 2017)

How to provide the action for this?

May be create button and give action called Select in field with Field name as MonthYear and

search string is ='>=' & YearStart(Max(MonthYear),'MMM yyyy') & '<' & Date(Max(MonthYear),' MMM YYYY')

If not, I would suggest you to share application for mock up
