any way to estimate the reload time..??

Hello everyone,

I know my questions may not have a direct answer.

earlier we planned for direct discovery concept, where we can see the Live data in the report.After knowing its lot of limitations and required server settings decided that its not a real time solution.

not exactly like live reporting now we are thinking about hourly refresh. so want to know how much time it will take for reloading apps in 3 layers like extraction , Qvd transformation and final App with UI.

please let us know if any work around to figure out.

am going to get the list of tables now along with sizes -- what do to next to get approx time.  ??

having around 80 fields. that's it.but each may be from different tables. - as of now we are not aware of that.

Reload time will be specific to your environment i.e. Hardware, network latency, db performance (if this is your source)  etc. Vineeth is correct. Load your qvws as that will give you a better understanding of the load times. You can then guage from there. To reduce load times on each hourly refresh, research incremental loads if you have not already implemented/considered that.
