can apptio be connected to Qlikview

Hi,

we have just moved our database from EIBR to Apptio, we have a Qlikview app which pulls data directly from EIBR, Is it possible to pull the data from Apptio in same way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Hi,

As long as you can make an ODBC connection, Yes you can read data from Qlik.

If not you have to make your own custom connector.

Or approach qvsource.

They can provide a custom connector for you.

Found this post from 2014 and was curious if you resolved this connection with Apptio vs. you exported data out and loaded back into Qlik?

Hi William,

I read somewhere that we would require to make JDBC connection to connect to Apptio. Since we had many restriction from Security point of view, I never tried it and later on I change my Job. So not working with Apptio anymore.
