change default setting of allow move/size check box in Layout tab

I find it annoying to have to go into each object to uncheck the allow move/size check box in my document. Is there a way to change the default setting so that it is always unchecked?

is there a way to at least grab more than one object at a time and have the unchecked option apply to more than one option at a time. It seems as if it should work because when I shift + click on multiple items, it gives me the option to right click and bring up the layout tab but when i uncheck the allow move/size option, nothing really happens. is this a glitch?

Seems to work for me.

I use Shift-Click to select multiple objects and in the Layout tab I check/uncheck options like Allow Move/Resize.

I am on QV 9 SR1

An alternative solution might be to disable Move/Size on Sheet level, which is done on the SeetProperties/Security tab.
