change of variable names

Hi,

Can any 1 tell me how to edit variables names

in variables overview i cud only change variable value

[awhitfield]

1) typo on the variable name....

2) if later want to rename several variables as name grouping ...

3) variables being case sensitive .... sometimes Cap every first letter of word ... sometime not ... if eventually want to bring it to consistent ....
