chart display - show only certain rows (not all)

Hi,

have a table with 4 columns (A, B, C, D) as below

test-ecn1.JPG

How to show the table as a chart that if the values in C are the same, take the row of maximum D? For this, rows 2, 3 and the 2'nd last are NOT displayed as below.

qvw is attached.

Thanks for your advise.

Hi Sunny,

There are additional columns of the table. These make the chart display a bit more difficult.

For example there are added columns Item and Qty. Your suggestion works fine to display one more column Item, but if both Item and Qty are to be displayed, it doesn't work. Any way to refine it? qvw file is attached.

Add them as expressions instead of dimensions

good learning experience!

can i say that for a chart, dimensions define the scope (or combination) of data to be handled, and expressions apply to the particular scope of data?

Not sure I understand your question. Would you be able to elaborate?
