chart--> pivot table cumulative

I am able to apply full accumulation on expressions for line chart but I am not able to do same for pivot table.

It shows disabled for pivot table.

Can someone help me here?

Hi,

Yes pivot table is not having that feature , so you can't see .On the other hand as you mentioned its one of the feature of Line chart.

Don't think this option is there for pivot. You need to aggregate using expression

can you give an example as to how to aggregate in expression?

You will need to have an expression something like this:

RangeSum(Above(<your expression>, 0, RowNo())

For more detailed help, post a sample qvw with representative data and the pivot table in which you want to perform the accumulation.

But when i convert it into pivot table it results into 0.

I just changed ur test straight table to pivot table and then chnaged months as the columns and vaues as row. But as soon as I do that it shows 0.

Ok. Just remove the sales from the dimension.

Then get the months as columns.

You will see getting populated as 0.

Well, what the purpose of the pivot table in this case?  Use straight table, horizontal.
