comparion between previous season and current season

if i select a current season code from list box  (image given below) it should reflect in chart under heading current year so for that how to declare a variable ? for previous year i have used following expression and variable

expression :-

=Num( sum({$<Sold_year ={"$(=max(Sold_year)-1)"},season={$(vSales_Summary_Previous_Season)}>} [inv value]/Sales_INR_Unit ), '#,##0.0')

Previous_season variable:-

vSales_Summary_Previous_Season

=season (field name)

Current_season_variable:-

vSales_Summary_Previous_Season

i want to show the comparison of sales on basis of season code ie if I select 17A it should reflect in current season and if i select 16A it should reflect under previous year.
