comparison of two years sales data

Hi All, I am new to qlikview dashboard development. Could some one suggest which is chart is best in representing two years sales data by quarter. But previous year quarters must be compared by current Year YTD quarters. We have Time,product dimensions and sales data as Facts. i.e Q12016 data should compared with Q12017 data. Q22016 data should be compared with Q1+Q2 2017 data. Q32016 data should be compared with Q1+Q2+Q3 2017 data. Q42016 data should be compared with Q1+Q2+Q3+Q4 2017 data. In simple words, 2016 year quarters need to compare with 2017 YTD quarters data. Please suggest all the possible changes to achieve this kind of comparison. Thanks in advance. Regards, Krishna.

YTQ, QTD, MTD and WTD

For comparison I suggest you can use alternate states, as its the best way for comparison if the years have to be selected dynamically else you can use a line chart or bar chart if you have only two years to be shown always.
