hi..

what is a dashboard and when should we use it??

tell me how to use it??

DashBoard is summary of a orgnization from where user can easily make their decision.

e: if in sales dashbard  the region a have less sale than previous month then he will take action against it.

in one place we are showing import measures of business. data at dashboard is cumulative.

at dash baord we can show Year over year %,YTD,MTD,QTD, Actual vs Budget,total sale.

top 10 sales divisions, below 10 divisions. etc

you can create dash board using below in a qlikview application

different type of charts

gauge charts-YTD,QTD,YOY %

bar charts-Top 10 values,Bottom 10 values
