exceeded the allocated memory

Hello experts,

Sometimes working on a document I get the message "exceeded the allocated memory".

What it means and how can i solve it ?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Best regards

This can be caused by many different reasons:

- wrongly linked tables causing Cartesian product;

- overly detailed Straight Tables or Pivot Tables with thousands of rows

- extensive use of IF functions within chart expressions

- the list goes on...

For starters, check the "Memory" settings in the Document Properties. If you have a decent hardware, you should check the checkbox "ignore the limits", to allow QlikView calculating charts practically without limits.

Also, check "Document Properties", tab "Sheets" and look for Objects (in the bottom of the dialog box) with the highest Memory use. Try to understand what might be wrong about those particular objects.

cheers,

taking a look at the bottom of Document properties->sheets it shows 0 KB for all objects except for one (35 KB).

is it corrects or is there something strange (0 KB) ?
