expression is not returning correct values against dimension.

Hi Friends,

I need a help with an expression in my chart.

I have several parameters and their associated MTD scores in my application.which is shown in a chart.

Now I have created a straight table which gives me the total score of all the parameters.

Now the the problem the total score is getting calculated correctly but its not showing according to the branch dimension which i have used in the chart.

Could anybody point out what the issue could be.

I am attaching my sample app and the expected output.

Regards

Nadeem

Got it to work:

Don't ask me how and why it works, but it did: Remove '=' from your variable and use $ sign expansion in your chart's expressions ($())

It seems that except your variable vGet5Score no other variable is working right now. You will need to fix all your variable to get to the result you are looking for. Each variable in itself is a complicated expression which we won't know what you are trying to calculate.

Hi,

Thanks for replying i have tested the variables they are working fine in my app .

The text box with the title total score has all the variables in it and it is working as desired

Please see attached the table

and the text box:

Both these are values from just one variable vGet5Score

Its weird, but it still isn't showing me any information for those columns

Not sure why its doing this

Looking at this, it seems your variable is returning the same values over and over again instead of probably showing different values for different regions. Still feel variable isn't doing what you are hoping it would do

Ok I got the problem the issue is with the date if you could set ur computers DATE to 30-04-2015

then it will show data as it has MTD data in it
