first sorted value and aggr?
Hi all,
I have in the data a field by day with the begin-stock of that day.
Now I would like to see this beginstock in a pivot table.
If I select only the station, Product and type I should see the first beginstock.
If I select year I would like to see the beginstock of that year.
Ther are also month and day dimensions
can I do this with first sorted value and/or aggr?
regards,
Kris

I believe you should be able to do this... but I am not sure if we can provide you with an exact expression based on the information you have provided. Would you be able to share a sample?

Just to clarify, when you say select "station, Product and type"... do you mean expand the dimensions? Also, Beginstock seems to only have 0 value... even when I expand it to all the way to day field... what number do you expect when I open only untill jaar? What do you expect when i open Maand? and etc?

If I open it to dag (Day) I would like to see the beginstock of that day.
When I opt to Maand (Month) I would like to see the beginstock of the first of that month.
For Jaar (Year) the same.
And If I only till the 3th column I would like to see the first beginstock of the selected period (in the above selection)
Hope it is all clear.

It is sort of clear, but why do I only see 0's when I open till date? Is the expression incorrect, or do you expect to see 0s?
