formatting/repositioning trendlines

Is it possible at all to do something about the layout or positioning of trendlines?

I know you can make your own trendlines with an expression as long as the trendline is linear. But as far as I know it's impossible to make a 2nd degree polynomial trendline yourself.

As you can see these equations are horribly placed, and I haven't found a way to reposition them.

Is there anything I can do about this? Or do I have to live with it?
