help in select in field

i have given select in field action, but in current selection i can't see the field. i checked whether i given clear field for that but no clear field i didn't give.please help

im setting SELECT IN FIELD--> field--> dept

search string-->IT

but im not getting the current field of DEPT-->IT in current selection.

It seems to work for this sample qvw I am attaching. Are you using it as a action within a button?

dept and DEPT will be different...

Please use the correct field name...

i m very sorry i found the solution why its not showing DEPT=IT. there is now value of IT in the DEPT field..

beacuse of no IT value in the DEPT field i mnot getting.
