how can I perform calculations on on some selection or click of a button?

Hey guys,

     I want to change the condition dynamically by user. I used to do it with check boxes in excel but here it looks littile tricky. I am stuck some one please help.

I have some variables below which I want to include them in some calculations in the grid. I want user to select which variable he wants. He can select anyone or both or none of the variables. Please help how can I achieve it here.
