It depends on the data but ideally 3 dimensions on bar & 2 on line can be added.

If dimensions are interdependent like Timeline then you can also make it cyclic or drilldown.

Hi,

From Qlikview Reference Manual (Page No. 620)

For the presentation of bar charts with multiple dimensions and expressions

the following principles apply:

- A maximum of two dimensions can be shown on the x-axis.

- A third dimension can be shown with multicolored stacked bars.

- Only table charts can display more than three dimensions.

- When two or more expressions are enabled, the two first dimensions are shown on the x-axis and the expression with multicolored stacked bars.

we can add number of. but bar chart taken first 2 dimensions only..That's the limitation of Bar chart.

Line chart also same.

when you want third dimension using groups or else using enabled condition.
