how to freeze the first column in a pivot table? - Qlik Community

hi

i have a pivot table with 10 columns. in the first column there are the measures names and in the others are the numbers.

the first column is much more wider then the others.

when i try to resize the columns they are all go together and i cant fix a different size to them.

i want to freez the first column on a wider size then the others.

i tried a macro that i found here for this :

sub Adjust

set ch = ActiveDocument.GetSheetObject("CH01")

ch.SetPixWidth 0, 50

end sub 0

but it goes for all the columns together.

so i can i do it???

hi

i added a picture of my pivot table to my post (i deleted all the Identifying information ).

i want to freeze the left column (with the names) and to Narrow the other columns couse i need more space in my page.

i have QV 10

You can't set different widths to your columns, because in fact it's a single column, but transposed.

So - one column = one width.

Maybe, I´m totally blind about your question.

I´m sending you a QV app with a pivot table with the first column much much

wider than other column

hi

the pivot that you sent its very similar to what i want to do.

how can i set a diffrenet width to the columns in that table with out influence on the others?

i didnt see somthing in the properties that can do that...
